We have a new Trader on the boards in the form of Greenlight Insurance (username 'Greenlight'). They are offering a discount on premiums through them, they specialise in modified/performance vehicles.

Over 21's only? thats the young members screwed then and if in certain post codes your screwed

only thing that appeals is track day cover tho

No different to any other insurer Kev tbh, most of the specialist performance and modified companies won't cover below 21 now, and postcodes are the same as regular comapnies will exclude or charge ridiculopus amounts for.

For example I'm with HIC currently and they won't do under 21's, and the same with Adrian Flux

Usually high car crime places, been the same for years, thee are certain places where insurance is very hard to get

i got a quote last year from a/f and i was 19 at the time and the guy didnt even bat an eyelid and it was a quote for a V6 astra

id have thought a decent cut off thing for insurers would be 21 / 2 years ncb

Same as me, but i am aware of the gradings given to postcodes by insurance companies, there was a list knocking about on various forums a few years back, will see if i can find it, as most insurers will either not quote or will quote higher on some particular postcodes
