improves the smooth look of the mk3, and is probably the best mod for the money (mainly cause its free !!)

As your's is fairly special, i'd say leave them on - keeps it that little more original.

Maybe even colour code them to be different?

take them off, right now!! i've never seen a nicely modified astra WITH bumpstrips. they've got to come off my friend. those are lovely wheels too!
