Hello !

My name is Sanjin and i'm from Croatia...
I'm proud owner of Astra F from 2001...
Car was originaly Astra Classic, made in Poland...
With 1.4 liter X14NZ engine...
These are oldest pictures that i have...
Winter edition :heh:

After that i bought TSW 15" alloys and Weitec sport shock absorbers... This was total disaster... Very hard to driving in city.... So I replace them after year or so....

I've changed brakes.... Front and rear from Astra GSi....

Old engine

New winter edition with BMW 14" alloys...

Removed bumper strips from the sides of car... Also made heat shield for air filter...

Front and rear bumper from Astra GSi...

Replaced front lights with "older" ones ( before redesign ) and "new" front grill...

Old sound system in different position in car....

Instrument panel in white.... Rest is in red...

New rear door with spoiler from Astra GSi... "New" rear lamps....

And these are pictures from last two or three weeks... Adapting GSi side skirts to 5 door....

I almost forgot about engine... For now there is C20NE inside... With new piston, valves, main bearings and so on...

I hope you understood my english and sorry for long posts....

Very busy...
But it isn't finished yet...
Soon i must get rid of the worst Opel's enemy...
Rust... This is everyday car so rust is everywhere

love the A piller pods - fancy making some more ;)

those a pillar enclosures are awesome where did you get them from could do with some for mine

DIY...
Very simple to do...
Just buy spare A pillars...
Here are some pictures from the process...
Hope you'll get the picture....

Cut parts from MDF....

Position them in car, use hot glue for this purpose....

Use cement with glass fibers for rough shape

Use soft cement without fibers.... Sanding, sanding, sanding ...

Find appropriate fabric, use glue in spray, and here is the result....

Rest of audio setup in trunk....

Here you are..nice looking car.but you know it already:cool:
I can t wait to see this skirts on the car..

verry good work  really imprest with the A piller couldn't do it my self tho

The pillar work is darn wicked, mate! I <very much> like the finish on those - I'll need to go shop for that kind of fabric and the glue spray soon. Thanks for uploading the pictures !

Some updates....
Engine was originaly from Calibra...
So the engine managment was M1.5 with VAF sensor....
Because of that i couldn't put regular airbox...
That's because Astra F didn't have M1.5...
So, it was time to replace that also....
New (old) M1.5.2 loom with ECU, MAF sensor, airbox, TPS sensor....
Because the loom was from car that drove on LPG, loom has been in bad shape...
So I examined whole loom, replaced the broken wire ( and removed ones left from LPG injector ), fix bad connections and wrapped whole loom in Tessa tape.... Here is the result....

Now engine consume less fuel - approx. 0,5 l/100 km less ( despite the fact that M1.5.2 opens all 4 injectors at the same time ), throttle response is slightly better, the car runs smoother.... Injectors are from C20XE....

New shock absorbers on the car :whoo:
Kayaba AGX Adjustable Gas Shocks...
Because of our bad roads they are set to the soft...
Front and rear....
It look's like this....

:thumb:

i LOVE the ice work :) how long has it taken to do and what have you covered the A pillar in please :)

Work is in progress since i have this car
I've changed lots of things in this installation, but most of them remains the same for the past 2 years...
Now system plays in full 3way active mode...
Without subwoofer... Plan is to put sub in front of passenger seat ( one day, maybe )....

I've made A pillars in 2 days - totally maybe 6 hours...
I don't know how they call this fabric...
I'm not really sure is this original microfiber, but it looks like one, only with addition of thin sponge on back side...

if you want to make me a pair of a pillers ill send some over haha
