People who have fitted Angel eyes headlights

Remove bulbs and have a look???? H7 have 3 prongs, H1 have 1, if I remember correctly.

You dont need a Bi xenon kit, just a H1 HID kit for the dip beam.

To stop the check headlight msg, you need to earth the green/white wire on the MFD, leave it connected up but tap into the wire to earth it.

I presume this will stop the headlight check ever working, will it affect any other checks in the car?

Bi Xenon only come in H4 format.

Ah makes sense! So I can't have a xenon full beam? If you had one H1 kit and one H7 kit would you could have hi/lo xenons? Just curious?

So to get the dipped xenon beam to work with headlights on you join the wires in the headlight stalk?

u won't want xenon main beam, it will b useless for flashin people and for quick vision wen the road suddenly goes dark!

It only effects the check headlight msg as far as Im aware.

Did you get the full wiring loom with the FK`s ?

If not then yes you will need to join the wires on the stalk to keep dip beam on when you switch to main beam.

Sorry ive worded that reply wrong

Right if you use the FK loom with a hid kit for the dip beam, you will find that when you flick to main beam, it will turn the hid dip off, obviously no good.

What i did on mine was not use the FK loom and wire up the H7 main beam direct to the 3 pin headlight connector (white wire). Then connect a H1 HID kit to the yellow wire on the same connector, then joined the two wires on the stalk connector so that dip stays on with main.

Also you will need to file out the bulb holder about 0.5mm so that the HID bulb will fit it, as the bulb is a bit larger than a normal one.
