thought i would do a proper thread of my car and my progree firstly pictures of when i first got it

removed bump strips quite surpriced how much of a differance it makes

got some goodrich brake hoses of my brother that he braught ages ago for his old gsi but never fitted them

jap T3 turbo
external waste gate
-with sreamer pipe
3 inch straight through stainless steel exhaust
large inter cooler
stainless steel turbo exhaust manifold + elbow
6 speed gear box
running 300bhp +

about time i updated a bit had some bad news with the turbo the exhaust manifold cracked which lead to more problems to find out that i had 3 snaped studs in the head so car had to come of the road so had to find a run about car luckly picked up an astra gsi cheap but only 1.8 (very slow). only thing i had to do was to put my wheels on it from the turbo as the wheels on it had 2 bold tyers

Sweet motor mate shame about the snapped studs though but least now you got another run about you can take your time an get it sorted properly..

Nice phase 2 you've got there... like the phase 1 too and from the pic it doesnt look in bad nick either. Take it that its got the 1.8 X20XEV engine in it with it being an M reg?

it will be the C18XE my mate, x20xev is a 2.0l as found in the later type astra gsi`s.

but shame about the turbo mate, im after me a turbo like yours with manifold, external wastegate etc. if you wanna sell let me know

quick update today got engine out today all went very well came out very easy

all pipes of and all wires

few pictures of the turbo

egine out

and bare engine bay
gonna clean engine bay up take gear box starter motor and alternater of the engine clean engine up ready to be taken to get studs taken out and helly coiled on tuesday hopefully
