Well I was thinking of going pas but was going to bin the belt drive and go for a electric pas pump. Even then trying to make that work could prove to be a challege. Though the quick rack sound's good, how much (bear in mind this is a cheap runabout)?
PAS is a must for powerfull engines like the XE/LET or heavy engines. its a tad ligher, but so much better, but if it fails, be warned, get a friend to help you turn the wheel while driving slow lol , and dont do any U turns without a good breakfast, its dam hard work!
I suppose I would be better off leaving it intil I get a bigger engine, as paul suggests it could heavier with the bigger engine. Cheers for the replies though.
