I bought a MK3 Astra 1.7TD N Reg last week but the radio had been stolen with all the wires cut and the connector taken. I've bought a replacement ISO plug set and a radio but I've been unable to find out what colour wire goes where in the car. I'll have no problems soldering it all together once I can find that out. I've even looked in the Haynes manual wiring diagrams but they are useless.

Thanks
Mik

if nobody beats me ill get a photo of the iso tonight, dont have a head unit in my car at the moment so i can easily reach in and pull the cable out.

Should look something like this:

B_ISO.png

Top Pic- ISO A

* 1 N/A (1)
* 2 N/A (2)
* 3 N/A (2)
* 4 Perm 12V
* 5 Antenne/Remote
* 6 Lighting
* 7 Ign 12V
* 8 Earth

* 1 + Right Rear
* 2 - Right Rear
* 3 + Right Front
* 4 - Right Front
* 5 + Left Front
* 6 - Left Front
* 7 + Left Rear
* 8 - Left Rear

If you loose radio settings each time you turn off then swap the red and yello pins in the top picture.

I've had a look at my wires in the car and they're a different colour to what's on your diagram. There aren't that many pairs for the speakers, a lot of the wires are mixed with brown rather than black but there doesn't seem to be any pattern. Block A was easy to find the wires. On Block B I found the wires for pins 3, 5, 6 & 7 but not the others.

twitch4685 - If you could take a photo of your wires that'd be most helpful.

Im going to attempt to solder it all up on Friday, but I should be able to sort it out one way or another lol!

Thanks
Mik

didnt get my car back from the garage today mate, fingers crossed i get it back tomorrow and ill take a pic for you then!

I've figured out so far that the following go to the speakers:
Blue
Blue/Brown
White
White/Brown
Green
Green/Brown
Yellow
Yellow/Brown

I know which speakers they go to but I don't have the paper on me. I've yet to find the wires for pins 4, 5 & 6 on ISO A as some of the wires are not what I originally thought.

Cheers Twitch!

Mik
