Im going to be different here and say, leave it. Keep the wheels / mudflaps. Rip out the interior and have a twin carb'd / throttle bodied XE snorting under the bonnet, Olly Hewitt stylee.

It's hard - I have 'the plan' in my other thread - but still really like this slag thing. Maybe I should just slag a Nova?

what i was thinkin but you'v gota have the 'rally' engine under the bonnet and gota sound proper beefy to get away with this look

Not too hard really, you can build an XE on carbs / bodies for not much dosh if you take your time, wait for a few bargins to come up.

Al, nova alg has been done to death, yet to see a nice Mk3
