rear door speakers in mk3 5door

As above.
The idea had been floating baout mig for a while so i decided to give it a go.
I havnt put it in the normal place a speaker would go as they are quite big and the window winder wouldnt clear it.
Im realy pleased wioth the outcome, so heres the pics.
Let me know what you all think.

The only thing i think, is that the speakers are perhaps a tad bit too big. maybe i should have just gone for some 13cm

yeah guys i changed them to 10cm's the day after and posted pics on mig. il try and find the post and get it up here.

UPDATE

I realised that the speakers I installed looked to big, so today i bought some new ones and installed them in their place. Finish looks loads better.

Sound quality has also improved I think. My music sounds clearer.

something to make it look better i think would be to take the black grill off and spray it in the same colour as the fabric.

thats a real neet idea ? what depth do you get putting them where you did .. and i here getting the window handle off can be a pain ?

Its pretty easy really. u just need to unclip a small clip behing the door handle. there is loads of room behind to fit speakers.

just to let you all know though, I have removed these speakers and have now made some cool side panels in the boot using fibreglass.
