just been looking through ppl's owners diary's and seen that their rear springs are fitted with the smaller coils at the bottom, mine are fitted with the smaller coils at the top, which way around do they go????

dont think it matters? would have thought that if it was wrong and you were driving it a problem would have presented itself?

i havnt driven it other than 300 yards yesterday, got it as an mot faliure and just put it all right, dont want it get to the test centre and fail on something daft like this. cheers for the reply.

will check mine tomoro, if its not far to the mot, see what they say. I normally nip down to my local mot station (no workshop involved so no failures to gain money by doing the work) and ask him the odd question, he should be happy to answer it if hes getting your business anyway!!

it already had lowering springs on when i got it so i just swapped them and refitted them the same when i got the new ones. thanks for the help.

im sure my springs was small at bottom, got bigger towards middle and small again at top. cant really tell now, as they were heated to bring the ride a little lower as 60 drop was to low for me :s

If they weren't failed the first time around they should be ok this time.
