Rear number plate light question.

Is it illegal to not have one? I will be having a smoothed boot so my rear plate is going to be stuck to bumper, so wont have a light on it.

Yep the rear number plate has to illuminated by law and is an mot failure if it's not

Same boat as me then Dunny. I think the easiest way is those universal light up plate light bolt things.

They are the ones. Id have prefered not to use them but there isnt really many other options that will look ok.

Where abouts on the bumper you mounting the plate?

Not sure yet mate, probably on the bottom were ive got the rieger style slots
