remove power steering !

is it simple to remove the power steering setup on a mk3, and replace it with a normal rack,

my reason is a normal rack cost's about £30, and im going to try and hide loads off wires and pipes ect just have a very clean bay,

plus my power steering rack has a lot of play in it,

Id go as far as saying it might be staying. Speak to Gareth and Brian S i think they are both going through this. Im sure Gareth has already done his and i think Brian is thinking of doing so.

yup its up for sale no intrested tho just been offerd silly swops, i may just put a new powersteering rack on it it may even be ware in the track rod end's havent really had a propper look, how easy is it to pull a rack off aint it 4 bolts 2 brackets how do i disconnect it from the rest off the coloum,
