this maybe the wrong place but how do you remove the runner and rubber from a front glass ?

you have winde the window down and also have the door card off as ive always found it easier to pull the rubber out and having a hand inside the door to give it some help. If i remember correctly the bottom of the runner in the door is bolted in, you have more play when its removed. Im sur i will be corrected if ive got this wrong 
im on about the runner that is at the bottom of the glass when you take it out. the silver aluminium bit
two gold bolts you remove and it frees the glass from the runner but the bit that the glass fits in i lost my temper and snapped it out as im breaking the car .
its bolted in, take them out obviously, then give it a good hard wiggle about lol
the one ive got is just held in with a strip of rubber with the glasses sloted in. ill have a look later when i finish work
in that case you will have to just work/tease the rubber out
