Resetting F13 Gear Linkage

Anybody know how to reset the gear linkage on my F13 Gearbox? We are swaying towards my gearbox troubles being linkage related. So need to know how to reset/align the linkage again.

In simple laymans terms please

how ive done it in pass, is.. get someone to sit in car, hold the gear **** in nutreal then do the linkage under bonnet... and try that.

You got a haynes manual m8? piece ov pxxx with tht if not the selector on top ov the box has a small hole in the side put a small drill bit in tht an then get underneath the car undo the the 13 mm nut then aline the linkinge should be easy ow dont forget sum wd-40 as problee be a bit rusty an tht.

Sounds easy enough, i do have a haynes but cant find it lol. Been out tinkering with it this morning and have gears with the engine off but not with the engine on so im swaying towards clutch. Which isnt a problem ill tow it over to the clutch centre and get it fixed/replaced under warrenty

Yeah tht defo clutch m8 mite even be thrust bearing
