I think it looks good with the lower half in black (it's a little more in keeping with the standard look). Is the rest of the interior black eg dash, door plastics etc?

This was mine when i still had the Astra, done in crushed velvet but gives you an idea of how the 2-tone looks

its grey at the moment but im going to be changing it all to black.. im gettin the door cards done and out of the way.. weres the best place to get the material.. any were online? i like that but i would prefer vinyl

I think ebay would probably be your best bet, that's where i got mine from..
Personally i would stick to a cloth type material for them, vinyl isn't very nice if you rest your arm on the door while driving  but each to their own

But for the purpose of your idea: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Royal-Blue-Vi...emQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_3?hash=item3caab21578

If you search for "leatherette" or "vinyl" under fabric heading on ebay you get quite a lot of results

thats mine with black leatherette, still a wip (i take ages to do anything )

how much to do a set of 3 door cards danh?

I managed to do all 4 doorcards, and re-trim my roof for around £20-25 (can't remember exact price now as it was a while ago), that was including the spray adhesive.. But prices vary depending on material you use obviously

the main problem i encountered was the adhesive not sticking on the arm rest bit so i would suggest asking baout to see what people used etc

i had that problem, i found sticking a back of cooking salt or similar in the area and leaving it over night helped. The bag will mould to the shape and keep pressure on it.

I bought proper fabric glue and it turned out to be ****:doh:ended up using some cheap spray glue i bought from a pound shop years ago!
