things to pack:

RANDOM CRAP:
  • -two buckets
  • -wash mit
  • -cleaning products(shampoos etc)
  • -cloths
  • -sat nav or a map
  • -money for fuel
  • -tools if ya have a dodge motor ;)
  • -3m masking tape (the blue stuff) for those long trips
  • -music for yourself
  • -sunscreen
  • -pillow (or just use your cloths Wink )
  • -drying towel
  • -tent
  • -toilet roll, or a leaf, or maybe let it dry n pick the crust off the hairs later ;) (which ever takes ya fancy at the time)

FOR YOU:
  • -beer of course
  • -deoderant
  • -hair products if your a bit of a girl like me
  • -toothbrush n paste
  • -showergel (bodywash n hair)
  • -chewing gum for fresh breath for the ladies
  • -umbrella for the rainy days
  • -some cloths for nighttime if you fancy getting dolled up for the ladies (or boys Alex ;))
  • -shoes (trainers and maybe some propper shoes)
  • -warm clothing (can gt cold at nights!)
  • -spare cloths for the day time including boxers n socks

FOOD ETC:
  • -evening meals:
  • -some meat like steak or chicken
  • or- stag chilli etc which is quick easy n filling
  • -pudding (maybe some fruit or chocolate roll);)
  • -snacks:
  • -chrisps
  • -fruit
  • -anything else which takes ya fancy
  • -breakfast:
  • -pan ou chocolate (last ages n are filling if you eat lots lol)
  • -cerial but milk is a bit awkward
  • -fruit again lol but is quick and easy to eat
  • -dinner:
  • -pasta salad (for the hot summer days with chicken maybe)
  • -anything else which takes ya fancy and is easy to eat n keep fresh/stored

-Storage for food etc:
  • -cool bags x2 normaly one for food one for beer
  • -freezer block x4/5 normaly
  • -knife, falk, spoon
  • -plate (platic to prevent smashing)
  • -bottle opener
  • -matches
  • -cooker and gas
  • -or BBQ
  • -ice for arrival for beers

there should be a list of additional items for estate/van owners too :lol:

stickied as well, it will help a few people new to the show scene I think :)

EDIT - food wise, tinned hotdog sausages are a good one as they don't need keeping cold, and can be cooked with minimal equipment/effort :)

another quick tip - if you're taking rolls for bacon rolls in the morning or whatever, then slice them before you go as a chopping board and knife may not be high on your list of things to bring ;)

I've only got a convertible... So I've got room for clothes, beer, some mineral water and my credit card :p

BTT: Good list, but don't forget duct tape and cable ties if you're going to a track day!

how about camping chairs? only need small ones, saves sitting in the car with the door open and killing the battery.
when we went to mods last year, was quite surprised how much junk fitted into the boot. were hoteling it this year as were going to the rally show on sat so will be staying somewhere on the way down. hotels have advantages ;) lol

old this :lol: but i seem to rember alex you had loads of bottles wkd blue stashed in the boot under the srare wheel :lol:

i got 2 camping fold up chairs on the way to PV last year at a service station, 2 for a tenner :thumb: then picked up a leather interior at PV, the 12 seater astra :lol:

morale of the story, take a van
