right guy, time to pick some brains ive seen this alarm on rclick.co.uk and was thinking of buying it, now is there any1 on here that has used one of these and if so are they easy to fit??

for some extra ££s you could get a toad ai606 i got mine off ebay for about £100 new and is easy to fit
You might want to check with your insurance company to see that they cover you if you have a remote start fitted. Not all of them do....How would you explain that you hit someone up the ar$e when you were not in the driving seat??

thats true, but i never leave it in gear when im away from the car, i learnt that lesson with a vw polo, got in not realisin id left it in gear, started it up and it shot forward and it cplit my bumper, ligts n all that on a wall, shouldnt have parked so close, didnt matter at the time as it was a heap anyway lol, might look into the toad on ebay if there is any

thanks, will look into buying one of those alarms soon, but would it not be best to get a credited installer do it so i get the certificate for my insurance
oh yeah it would but it would make much difference to it tbh youll spend £150 getting it fitted for £50 off your insurance
oh right not a lot of saving really then, well if i can get one sorted ill need someone to fit it as im an electrics nightmare waiting to happen lol
I notice on a lot of online insurance quotes, they make no mention of alarms anyway, just immobilisers.
yeah i phoned up my insurance before i went and got mine fitted thinkign great im gonna save like £300! given that my insurance is £1200 and it was something like £40 and as i was fitting it for my peice of mind i thought sod it ill fit it myself i know it all works and thats good enough for me
