Sony Remote compatability

You have the original instuction manual? Should have it in there ...

I printed the manual from sony for it but the remote for that player is like gold dust and most places are wanting £90+ for it.

This has the basic functions and says it should would with everything +03 which mines is. Just wondering if anyone has any gen before i take the plunge.
