whats the speed limit for a car derived van?
i know that for bigger vans like transits etc its 60mph on motorways and 50mph on A roads, just wondered if it was the same for the likes of astra vans?

Wouldn't have thought so, i'm sure it's weight based or load capacity and car derived vans fall outside of restrictions. lol imagine a fiesta van, only difference being rear windows plated up and that means it can only dong 60 on a motorway lol

Didnt know there was a different speed limit on any van. many a time a merc sprinter has shot past me doing 80 - 90. wouldnt have thought it any diffrent for a car derived van though because its still technically a car minus back seats or windows.

thats what i thought, its baisicly just an astra estate without windows. the guys at work were sayin it would be limited to those speeds, but i'm sure its only bigger stuff. anyone know where i can check? dont wanna get f*cked over when i thing i'm being all law abiding

the bigger vans are difinitely limited astranaut, a mate got 3 point for doin 57 on the A15 in his transit
