Steam from Heaters

Tonight my car started to poar steam from my heaters for some reason what would cause this? Also checked the water and as expected I was empty which I belive is due to this problem of steam

Water Pipe Split in engine bay?

Heater Matrix Faulty?


Any ideas guys?

if a pipe has split, id say the matrix to side of head pipe, theses get the hostest and after time just fall apart.

i'd probably say heater matrix. ive got a similar problem on mine atm - loosing water and the interior carpets are wet.

Have not noticed the wet carpet yet

Yea its the heater matrix and its drinking all my bloody water

Just taken the dash off now and what a mission it was to access the matrix

you can get to it by just taking the centre console out ya know :whistling

Yea knew that mate but wanted to get the dash off its only the part where the stereo is held and switches giving it a good clean ect
