superchips????

ive got my new c20let ecu an was told it had genuine EDS phase 2 chips. but upon opening the ecu i found that it had chips from "superchips".

now im unsure what they are, weather they are phase 2, phase 3 equivilent etc, the guy said he was runing 22psi on them so could be the equivilent to phase 3 or evo 5.

ayone know if superchips only do 1 type of chipset for the c20let or do they do a few like eds do the ph1,ph2,ph3 etc

if they re cr@p the he will be getting a PM a ive had nothing but trouble.

any info on these chips would be great thanks

I hacve a c20let with aparrently phase 2 chips and there 'superchips', when i was running it i had no bad issues with then at, with the actuator wound down it was holding 14psi but with it wound up it was running and holding 20psi with no eml coming, dont know if this is any help mate,

yeah well the guy i got the ecu off said it had eds phase 2 chips and he was running 22 psi no problems, i thought he ment overboost was 22 psi but when i asked him if he ment overboost he said no held boost.

butif yours ran fine on 1 bar of boost pressure then im happy as i can run 1 bar which is what i want and at a later date i can up it if i upgrade the engine

ok mate, hope that helped then, i broke a pin off 1 of mine ph2 chips, im going for evo 5s now
