After some of the best driving on track all day the team psycho mk3 decided it didnt want to go no more and threw a hissy fit.

I have spken to the driver and he is ok with me posting these up.

Quote of the day came when he got out of the car and patted it on the roof and said "SHE HAD A GOOD INNINGS" LOL.

As said earlier it was some of the best driving all day. Who says the mk3 didnt handle

We locked up on the spill, all good fun, glad we didn't get too stuck otherwise we could have potentially made contact at pace...

Picked up some oil too - not bad considering I wasn't right up behind;

Shame it went, it was going well.

it was 1.8 16v iirc was wicked out on the track of what i seen of it

ha ha thanks guys just seen it! ya it was a 1.8 16v ecotec with a 4 branch and filter! dont know what bhp but went good!
i am gona spent the rest of the year going through the car doing some bits to it! bin offered a set of 40 weber carbs today so thinking of stripping the gsi and useing the red top. but kind of like the shock of peoples faces when i say its a 1.8 and not a redtop as they all think it is!
what do you think?

but dont worry she will be back! and now need to keep with them vxr's lol

Meh, it's only Oil. Not an issue to me atall. And yeah, the TA Astra must have got a properly heavy dosage in comparison! lol

We were more concerned with what happened with yours TBH, you were out in both my sessions and were properly flying, so wasn't good to see your day end so spectacularly...

ha ha ya we where all ok got it on the grass fine! it was a shame the car died but i have done a few trackdays and had alot of fun! but looking for a 2.0 now to make it faster need more power! do you do many trackdays??

i will have the use of a bit of weston airfeld soon so might have to get a few people down there for a play!

also if anyone has a 2.0 16v ecotec or better a sport engine and that hasent done loads of miles let me know and i will get it back going! also looking for a F16CR gearbox too!

um i just put the astra in the garage and for a bit of fun i spun it over and it tried to fire on 3 lol its still not dead!!!!

i have found a engine its staying 1.8 16v!! so i can still see the shock on every ones faces when i say its a 1.8 lol
