as in a original OPCOM?

i was a bit dissapointed with how little one can program on the Astra J

Astra J You can enable a whole load of menus in the central display, But nothing can be done nor read other than fault codes on the meriva.

Deadpool 2 is awesome

Seriously, go see this movie

I loved the first one so will go see this if I can soon

For the first time in forever (probably only a week or so) had a good old lay in! 10am isn't a record but it does feel good!

I had a message on pistonheads.

In the topic "Your on death row, what's your final meal" it seems my reply of Elizabeth Hurley's Snatch isn't appropriate.

I liked the comments made by a Polish chap in a BBC article about affording a house without the bank of mum and dad...
He seems to hit every point I've moaned on about for years...in a succinct couple of paragraphs.

"I was 28 when I bought my flat after working for four years and earning less than £29k.

"I'm Polish and came to the UK in 2011 for university. I started working in 2012 and rented a room in Coventry for £380 a month. I saved around 40% of my salary each month and still went on holidays.

"I saved up around £14k after around four years. Through Help to Buy I got a 15% loan from the government which got me to the 20% deposit so I could buy a flat for £150k.

"House ownership doesn't come from earning money - it comes from saving it. Unfortunately British people don't learn how to do that. It's spending money they learn, that's why a majority of people don't have money to cover an emergency bill, but probably have a leased car or a massive TV.

"Work out what your priorities are. If you want a house don't go out every Friday but at the end of the day you have your income and what you do is up to."

Was listening to the radio today and it was about single parents being skint and all that and people moaning that they're in so much debt and all their wages/benefits are going on paying debts off... no doubt whilst watching 60inch tvs with a 10k car on the never never parked on the drive. Fair play to him, guarantee some bellend somewhere will take issue that he's an immigrant that's done well for himself though. Society sucks.

Annoys me when people thibk finacial hardship is not being able to pay for the sky package for the TV.... Thats a luxury, financial hardship is not being able to keep the lights on or food on the table....

They were talking on the radio about hardship this morning saying people are getting in debt at Christmas for essentials, then they went on to say presents and a Christmas tree, get your priorities right, its a time of year to spend time with friends and family

Start of december some bloke asked me to list my Astra on ebay as he got a paypal loan and he could only buy a car on ebay. I ignored him

3 weeks later he messaged asking if I would swap for £1500 and a saxo VTS. I ignored him

Today I get another message asking if its for sale. I replied saying yes but please dont offer any swaps or silly offers, as it means he hasnt read the advert at all.

The reply was hilarious apparently its over priced and he was trying to do me a favour as his cupra leon would wipe the floor with it and he only wanted the shell but I can keep my rust bucket
lol.gif

So he wanted to pay over £2k for a rotten shell

Yeah thats how you get someone to sell you a car
lol.gif
Told him to google irony and blocked him but amused the hell out of me

No one ever sais "for the win" or "mincing" any more

Made a cheeky comment to a bloke on facebook about getting a discount code, next minute I get a message with 10% off on the Forge website. Ordered some shiny bits for the car with it
