tinting rear lights

Thinking of tinting my rear lights, ive heard there is some spray you can use to tint them. Is it any good and if i do go and try it are there any areas of the light i have to keep free of the spray for legal reasons?

Aslong as the reflector still reflects light and the lights can still be seen, you'll be fine

As above, reflectors have to be clear unless u fit seperate ones, make sure if you do the tintin that the lights are as clean as poss and you only spray a small amount at a time as the tint sprays seem to run like mad if put on to thick and look cack once your turn the lights on as shows the runs up bad. Coppers can be a bit picky as well if too dark, iv been stopped many times when ever iv done mine
