Today i got my renewal price through for my bmw, a quote might i add i was happy with as its going down from £38 a month to £31 a month and saves me the hassle of phoning up people who dont understand me to try and get it cheaper.

But then i thought "well ill be using the astra in 2018 a fair bit i better crack on with getting it road legal"

Since 2010 when the v6 went in the engine bay it has always been insured through adrian flux, always. People always have horror stories about flux but for 7 years ive no problems what so ever and ive always paid less than £300 fully comp and fully declared. I cancelled insurance earlier this year simply to save money, since returning home from billing 2016 to 23rd December 2017 the v6 has done around 10 miles give or take so no point paying for something i didnt have to.

Today i went onto everyone's favourite comparative website confused.com for a quote (i just want to quickly state i fudging hate James Corden, seriously how can this unfunny slob keep finding employment, everday i pray that one of those sheep will bite off his clacker bag) and the results speak for themselves

Well thats quite a shock to say the least. Can anyone else relate to this madness or are these people just hiking up the price solely because they dont want to insure an old astra

It's because it's online more than likely. Give them a call and I bet the price will be different.

That’s partly because it’s a price comparison site, and they always take a cut. Plus I was told by flux (when I questioned why my price had gone up, despite my 9 points coming off my license the month earlier) when I renewed, that it’s also to do with this wonderful blame and claim/crash for cash culture we now have in this country.

But then, give insurance company’s ANY excuse and they’ll bump their prices up because reasons. The utter C U Next Tuesdays.
