right ive been a little bit of a plonker, ive currently got 195/45/16's on the car and need two new fronts, so i ordered some more from the same company, same type as last time but stupidly ive ordered 205/45/16's now i know all the technical info and i know they will fit as i have 7.5 inch wide wheels but i want to know from peoples experiance will it be obvious they are different sizes as i want the car to look reasonably well maintained not with eneven tyres etc. thanks

failing that, put the 205s on the back and have it looking a bit wider at the back, that will be better than wides on the front.
the 45 profile will be higher on the 205s than the 195s, but not much. (87.75 mm from road to wheel on front and 92,25mm on rear, so only 4,5mm difference)

yeah i was thinking that but if its not noticeable id rather have the wider ones on the front for the extra grip. Ill get them fitted tomorrow and see what they look like.

i've got 205/40R17s on my fronts, and 245/45R17s on my rears (they were free) and they look fine. they look really good from the back :D

85 quid delivered mate from topgearshop on ebay. they are nankang sport ns2's. and yes im aware of the saying nankang no grips but these do not live upto their heritage, they are awesome tyres better than any others ive tried before

extra grip and a lower MPG :) Also steering will feel heavier.. just try them on front and back and see what you are happier with.

well the back has tonnes of grip atm, its the front the starts to feel jiggly at high cornering speed so i think as long as it doesnt look too odd ill stick the wide ones on the front. 59p/litre for fuel and it works out at 36mpg and 7.5p per mile so the little difference it will make doesnt bother me, id rather have a little more grip

ive already done 20k on these tyres mate they are brilliant. cant fault em tbh
