V5

Hi, quick question for you guys. When i bought my car i got the new owners supplment part of the V5 but they guy i bought it off hasnt sent the V5 off. I have the guys address but i dont have his phone number anymore (My phone history cleared)

Where can i go from here to get the V5? Cant i contact the DVLA? Or should i drive 2 hours and knock on his door?

DVLA, or you can probably get the required form from the nearest Post Office.

As above, my local Post Office have sorted this for me a few times. Just take the green slip in, your name and address and they will tell you where to post it and the form to submit with it. Think its V62.

Don't forget the £25 fee for a replacement, even though you've never had one.

– an insurance company destroyed the V5C because they considered it to be category C
