The VBOA National Rally – New Location, Same Great Show!

It’s that time of year again – the VBOA National Rally is just around the corner, and we’re excited to invite you to join us for what promises to be another fantastic weekend celebrating all things Vauxhall, Bedford, and Opel!

A New Venue for 2025

This year, the rally is taking place at a new location, just a couple of miles down the road from our previous spot at Sywell. The move was made due to rising and unsustainable costs at Sywell, but rest assured, the new venue looks excellent and is more than capable of delivering the same high-quality experience you've come to expect.

What’s the VBOA Rally All About?

If you’ve never attended the VBOA National Rally before, here’s a quick overview:
  • It’s a static car show showcasing Vauxhall, Bedford, and Opel vehicles from all eras.
  • All types of cars are welcome – from factory-standard survivors and heavily modified builds, to mud-splattered daily drivers and show-stopping concours examples.
  • The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, making it a great day out whether you're a long-time enthusiast or just getting into the scene.
  • There’s more than just cars – enjoy the autojumble, food stalls, and even some live action events throughout the day.

Join Us for the Day or Camp for the Weekend

As always, you have the option to come for just the day, or make a full weekend of it by camping with us.
Camping will be located just behind our club stand, providing convenient access to the display area and all the club facilities.

Our club will be providing:
  • A communal event shelter – great for relaxing and socialising with fellow members.
  • A BBQ setup for everyone to use – feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
  • Private toilet facilities on our stand for club members.

Want to Display Your Mk3 Astra?

If you’d like to show your Mk3 Astra on the stand with us, here’s what you’ll need:
  1. A valid MK3OC Club Membership
  2. A MK3OC Stand Pass
  3. Your VBOA Rally Ticket and (if camping) a Camping Pass. You will need a password to access the discounted VBOA member booking, which can be found here.

Got Questions?

If you’re new, unsure how it all works, or just want more info – don’t hesitate to ask below or contact a club representative. Whether it’s your first show or your tenth, we’re here to help and make sure you feel welcome.

We truly appreciate your continued support of MK3OC, and we can’t wait to see everyone – and their cars – at this year’s rally. Let’s make it one to remember!

Good evening, new to this forum but just a quick question, I'm very interested in coming to this show and put my car on stand, my question is I only need a day ticket for stand as I have prior arrangements for the Sunday, if I was to purchase and stand ticket can I arrive early door sat 12th and leave early evening 12th? And also with the Rally ticket do I have to do it? Is it a proper rally etc? Many thanks

Hi. Yes, you can come and go as you please within the opening times of the gates, so you can just attend for the one day. You will need to purchase a ticket for the one day through the VBOA, and a stand pass from us. The 'Rally' is a static car display. Hope that answers your question :thumb:

Hi peeps, I thought it was about time I displayed the wife's Astra mk3 V6 on your club stand as this might be our last year with it now it's for sale click me so I've paid my dues and we'll see you on Saturday around 9am :thumb:

That's great to hear, look forward to seeing you there :)

Thanks , looked at the VBOA website and it is so small the map / layout of the show?? Is the public parking where you go in?? I cannot see the layout? It is so small surprised anyone knows where the stands are for each group?

Yeah, it isn't the clearest! The image below should hopefully be easier to see. But there is public parking.

Hi, you've missed the discounted pre-booking unfortunately, so you will have to pay at the gate which is £15/day or night per person.

Then you will need a stand pass from the club to join us.

You can either come for the one day or camp for the weekend. We'll be there from Friday afternoon either way. Hope you can make it :)

I didnt see any of the Cresta nor Victor owners clubs? At previous shows we used to have Bedford trucks as well. Corsa B/C club? Tigras?
Seems newer model theme rather than a classic Vauxhall?

Yea we were discussing this, seems alot of the older members aren't there this year, but then, maybe they are too old now? I didn't see any Tigra's at all now you mention it or bedford trucks, hopefully next year will be stronger.

Still plenty of manta's and viva though! Alot of nice stuff

I am told the Victor Cresta clubs go to billing instead?? I did like billing so did my dad as he worked at a Vaux dealer for quite a few years 60s/70s and he used to name the colours on the old cars, and how hard they were to match.... A different time.

They did look at billing for an option for this year and the show could of been there, but with no camping option and massive cost for pods and caravans, it would of killed it.

The show was very good this and a lot of positivity. Need to get some more cars along next year!
