welding advice astra van rear end

just lowered the rear of the van today and noticed the spring seats on the car body are fooked.

Any ideas on how they are repaired?
Can new parts be bought?

And a rough price on costs for a garage to carry out the work?

Im no welder and onky have ago if its not going to be a safety issue.

Yes you can buy new spring seats mate, you can buy then either from vauxhall or patient parts, not sure of a price though, for a garage to weld them shouldn't be no more than £100,

ah that good then, any idea how much they are? Not really a fan of pattern parts but then again im not a fan of vauxhall prices

This is a real pain job .. to be honest , this this one of the reasons Vans get scrapped.
You can get the spring seats quite cheaply here .. (ebay for about 30€each)

But, (always a but) if these things are not fitted 1000% correctly then it effects the handling quite badly.

my local panel place, cleveland panels dont do the spring seats for the estate/van, any links, places to get them from plz???

you manage to sort some matey? I've looked at mine and one side is rotton me old man reckons its an MOT failure but its only just passed a MOT and it hasn't just gone through in the last month or so......

Mines the top cup above the rear spring it looks simple enough to grind and weld back on though....just need to get some
