its a filter for the breather system so u can vent crankcase gases etc to atmosphere, normally it recirculates back to the inlet, they look quite smart but can smell abit

Much better off with a plumbed in catch tank.

They make a difference but not so much to the performance. Its a worth while mod as my my brothers C20XE kicked oil into the inlet and made a mess. He didnt want this happening to his new re-profiled inlet so got a catch tank. It doesnt kick as much smoke out of the back either now either.

You block up the the breather hose that goes to the throttle body and stick this filter where the breather comes out of the cam cover.

Wait till saturday Si, mines got one on it.......... oil all over top of the engine!! it whiffs a bit and I wish that I had a catch tank!!

Would never use a filter alone due to the mess it makes. Use one with a catch tank to vent the top but be warned- it will make a smell and my brothers kicks a bit of smoke out especially when first starting (it visable)
