What the smegg is it now?!!!

im drivin home, then it starts running really choppy, and i notice all my dash lights have gone out.

So i pull over and replace the fuse with another....it blows it straight away.

so i carry on drivin as need to get home....and then the batt light comes on.....

then a HUGE cloud of white smoke fills the road, so nobody could see, except me lol.

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG?! i know that the cranksensor is limiting the revs to 4000 rpm, and only the eml light comes on when it trys to go past 4000revs. then it dissapears............but would this fault cause it to start running awfully and smoking like so?

just read the fault codes and got :
19-RPM signal (crankshaft sensor) Incorrect signal
37-Engine self-diagnosis (fault code light) Low voltage
57-Idle Speed Control Valve (ISCV) Interruption

ideas? would any of these cause the massive amount of smoke?

Sounds like it could be head gasket to me. What does the water and the oil look like?

i get a compression test done if i was you mate just to rule out the H/G

TBH if it's blowing fuses then it's worth checking the earth points - there could be one loose leading to arcing so that it's drawing more current than the fuse can cope with, making it blow

cheers for response lads, turns out head gasket fine,

it was an old speaker wire for the fronts was touching the ecu!!

so it blew 2 fuses....

just did a paperclip test after resetting the thing and no faults at all! not even the cranksensor that i thought was on its way out.....so drives perfectly.

seems the fuel pump was been sent a signal for too much fuel, hence the smoke.....
