Hi, i was wondering if someone could shed some light on this for me. I have a flashin red led light, i want to put it in the car to act as a deterant for theives, just untill i get an alarm fitted. However how would i fit it? Do you reckon that i could splice into a live supply and connect the live and the ground to ground? It might sound stupid but im really unsure about this, any help is much apprectiated, thank you.

Yeah, you can just splice into a permanent live and any earth for it.
Yeah i was toying with that idea, i think it would annoy me keep flashing on an off all the while lol.

Connect the live up as normal and the earth to a ignition live so it only flashes with the ignition off
Ahh, so thats how they get it to work when the ignition is off. Cheers mate.
