Not really that long before the big shows like PVS and Billing etc kick off. What you got left to do on your car to get it ready for then?

Mine's a fair way off yet. I want the alloys refurbed and painted. Get the bodywork seen to and a complete wet&dry and buff up. Get reiger grill painted and fitted. Gsi kit would be nice too  I'm sure there's other stuff I can't think of right now also.

I'm doing the Yorkshire PV Show in June and Billing. I have to remove the last of the resiude on dside, from the side trims that I took of. I have paint chips and small rust spots to do and polish out the scratches.Paint my new wheel trims and side mirrors.
I might but a decal on the sides if I find one that I like.
Cheers Dawn

not sure if ill be at shows this year yet depends if bodywork is sorted as im not happy to put mine on a stand at show with the dent that its got

also would like alloys refurbed if i cant get bbs reps sorted

first thing is to get it up and running mapped and out the garage
get it cleaned
tax and mot
then refurb the wheels
fit gsi mirrors in place on the m3 mirrors
get the bride seat repaired and then fitted
possible respray if not at least get my driver rear 1/4 sorted
fit new head unit and maybe sub

On my turbo nothing as it won't be at any shows this year

Doris is to get the engine fitted, springs on, tidy up the bad rear arch and find a towbar for it

i hope to make some shows this year and the things to get done is a list lol
-get the back box fitted straight
-gsi rear beam
-lower all round 40mm but i need front as i only have rear
-i dont no what to do with my interior cos its blue
-get all bulbs done for the clocks and heaters and so on
-new pipes for the engine
i think thats it lol

dont think i will be ready in time 4 pv but im goin to try 4 a few bofore the season is over but i got s**t loads to do

Makes sense, more economical than a 1.4 or 1.6 for the amount of driving I do a day, when we borrowed Lee's 1.4 it was worse on fuel than my LET

yeah the underpowered cars have to work twice as hard to keep at 70.. doing 80 in mine is not far off foot flat to the floor, but follow a lorry at 60mph and i'm barely touching the pedal

Alot

i have an awful lot to do before i feel ready for shows...
sand fill and spray front bumper
refurb rubber splitter
modify sand fill and spray ph1 skirts
sand fill and spray ph2 spoiler
fit ph1 mirrors and electrics
heat wrap and fit branch manifold
do timing belt and water pump
change rocker cover
sand and paint strut brace
get red silicone hoses cut and fitted
change black cable tidy for red
fit new discs calipers and carriers
maybe fit equal length shafts although that is not a priority...
so lots to do then...

probly repair and repaint the gsi bumper since i cracked it again on a high curb

paint the ph2 gsi skirts and fit them, and do all the boost and fuel mods too. thats it
