wierd tank below air box???

iv just seen a wierd tank under my airbox i managed to push this out of the drivers side wing it seems to have no purpose??
am i right in thinking its the resinator??

what the hell does it actually do??

Yea bud sort of de-restricts your airbox when you take it out

think of it as a kind of air channeling reducer box type thingy... you can knock it out from above or fiddle around with the one fixing that holds it in place, personally i just got a big screwdriver and knocked the bugger out while the airbox was out... have u derestricted your airbox yet?

yeah its out now and i have the big cut on my hand to prove it haha
i just used the good old rag it out technique lol ...

lol i hit mine out in temper and didnt no wot it was so i got another one then found out it needed to come out anyway

somethimes a good technique but sometimes ends up in a slight injury lol

no pain no gain as they say lol on the subject of airbox so i stick standard box bk on with new panal filter as opposed to the KnN i have on now?

in the std filter housing, you will find some pipework that can be removed to improve airflow into and through the box... look @ the box and it should be pretty obvious what you need to remove... also they kind of slide out, the pipes that is... give them a wiggle and you will see mate...also get a courtenay or similair filter instead of the paper one... good luck!

does that work better then? because i have the KnN on now and notice flat spots due to it??
