4X114 sounds like a ford fitment to me? 7.5jj little wide for the Astra, doable though, MattDaly has 7.5's and had rubbage so had to trim his arches a little, 215/40/16 sounds fine

Yeah it's because they're ET38's though, ET42 should be alright. Although I run slightly stretched tyres, with full width ones it would rub like a bitch. Use 205/40's on 7.5J wheels, looks cool with a slight stretch

How do i normally find out the ET number on my wheels as i'm getting rubbing on the inside of my wheel, i'm lowered on 60mm all round and it's driving me crazy with the occasionaly rub on top then the squeaking noise when i'm doing about 50 mph lol

What wheels, it usually stamped on the inside of the wheel.

Have you checked the tyre is not rubbing on the shock?

No mate, they are Team Dynamics black Pro Race 1's i think, not had chance to do owt really yet, only just found out today, a friend told me it might be rubbing on the shocks, what is the plan if it is that though, i'm crap with owt like this.

It's a 3 door 2.0 Ecotech sport mate, i've a strange feeling that somethings wrong with the suspension though cause it seems to sit lower than normal, could be wrong type of wheels, as soon as i've checked i'll stick what i find on here and hopefully someone can help me

If it is rubbing on the shock some spacers will do the job as the will nudge the wheel out a bit
