Anyone know how much these are to change and how long a job it is?

Also had the engine electrics fault come on today so i plugged the father in laws tech 2 into it and it was the cam sensor. We unplugged this and plugged it back in and all seems fine. How do you change this sensor?

Cheers party people

Dan

p.s i did search but couldnt find much.

Cambelts are fairly easy to do on those, cost depends on if your planning to do it yourself or not? As for timescale, should be easily doable in a couple of hours if you are fairly competant mechanically

i get mine done in about an hour including changing water pump so its not that hard if you no wot your doin and to change the cam sensor theres a little tork screw between the cam pulleys undo that one and pull it out the top

spanishfly on mig has a complete XEV kit for sale £60 delivered i think GM parts
