thats some good edging work, the xt is a fantastic edge trimmer, probably one of the best on the market. Very little vibration through the handle and a decent decible level, Pretty sure those also come with free safety glasses. I really need to start a diary thread on my strimmers, i have 3 ;)

what horsepower is the motor pushing out? you had it on the rollers yet? have you upgraded the wire to carbon?

Remove this sick filth, this is a family forum!

you could have put a strimmer warning up, my daughter just saw that. rick, do you have parties with the neighbours, where you all put your strimmers in a bowl and swap?

We used to but all my neighbours moved out oddly enough.

Been a while since last update on this thread eh but heres a new update woohoo.

Came home from work on friday, had a quick look throo ebay and found something that caught my eye, put a stupidly cheap bid in and won! So here it is

A mountfield 4 stroker with the Briggs and Stratton engine. 90cc of oomph.

Its even got one of those brand spark plugs that some renault clios have written down the doors

This is my other beast, a powerbase, just a wee 39cc but its a cracker

Bit of an arty shot kinda, trying and imagine the 2 of them sitting at the startline of the "race wars" desert drag race at the end of the first fast and furious

You can see the mountfield does have bigger rims than the powerbase but the powerbase does have a slightly longer nose

Obviously none if these will replace my flymo but incase of a zombie apocalypse and theres no electricty left in the world and i need to cut my grass then 1 of these 2 will be called into action.

Someday i hope to own this
