Screenwash hose to the rear on a Caravan

The day has come; I've replaced the headliner... What a job... It came out pretty easy eventually, just shoved it out from behind let's say. Removed the foam and degreased it somewhat. It was a thin "paper" plate with fiber on it. Think it has been swapped before because a date code from 1997...

Screenwash hose to the rear on a Caravan

The plasics where pressed in a clipholder, did not managed to get them out in one piece. Maybe it requires a special tool. The headliner is out of the car... I did found the hose but it's located in the roof chassis... I hope I can fit in a new one by guiding it via the rubber in the rear...

Screenwash hose to the rear on a Caravan

Looks to me it clips on the chassis and not the headliner itself, now I think about it, not sure if there are 2 of 4 of them, was thinking maybe it's for a roofrack or something like that haha... Cannot find anything about it on the internet, not even a picture... It's an original Dutch...

    Changing Speakers

Well, the RMS output does not say much nowadays. I have a "decent" JVC head unit with 4x50 watt, but if I crank up the volume it's very distorted. The speakers I fitted are at least 15 years old, so that also could cause the distortion. ;-) They are 3 way, with a separate tweeter, I removed the...

    Astra mk3 1.6 coolant problems

There is also some kind of temperature sensor at the back of the engine. It's not the termostat. Think it's only reading the engine temps to the ECU, but also does something with the temp gauge in the dashboard. If it's giving faulty information to the ECU the engine can run lumpy. If there is...

    Changing Speakers

I changed the factor speakers years ago, not sure if they are 13" or 16", but one thing I know for sure you need speaker adapter cable (in my opinion cutting the wires would not be a great idea), and indeed you need speaker adapters, because the door isn't thick enough to install better...

Screenwash hose to the rear on a Caravan

I think it will be a pain in the *** haha. There is a lot to do... I removed the grab handles and interior lights and so fort, but these things won't come off. Are they clicked in place like the interior lights? Seems they are connected to the headlining? I removed the A pillar plastic and looks...

Screenwash hose to the rear on a Caravan

Wanted to fix the hose, I've removed the grab handles, there is a hole to the roof, the only thing I found was the antenna cable haha. The hose it self is somewhere more to the front. There is another plastic part, but not sure where it's for, think to mount something to the roof? I did not...

Screenwash hose to the rear on a Caravan

Okay, sounds easy. Wanted to fix the headliner also; think that won't be that easy...

    T92 no spark!

Did you find a new one including the hall sensor? Best thing is to check if you get any readings on/to the plug from the distributor. When I had something like the same issue, this road mechanic was checking it with a LED or light bulb, it did not flash, which means the computer is not sending a...

    Brake Pedal Fade

It's a relative simple system. Mine has a vacuum pipe from the engine, it's brittle plastic after years, when it has a crack you loose pressure/vacuum and the brakes doesn't to the job anymore... Also air in the brake hoses or bad brake fluid can cause issues... If it's not the cylinder...

    T92 no spark!

My guess it's the hall sensor. I changed everything and in the end it was the hall sensor in the distributor cap. There was no spark but also no fuel. Got (the mechanic) one from the scrap, engine runs better than ever. Not sure if it has a immobiliser, you can try the spare key.

Screenwash hose to the rear on a Caravan

Hi all, the hose to the rear end on my Caravan is cracked. I managed to find the hose between the rear (tailgate) door and the car it self between the rubber connecting hose. I wanted to fix this but after a while it has fallen down/is gone somewhere in the roof I think. Does someone knows how...

    Jerking issue C14NZ engine

The issue is solved! It was the hall sensor in the distributor cap all the time! Now the engine puls like a 8-valve should do... It did not give any warning ever, until it quit entirely... The mechanic could not swap the sensor itself, he said something about something broke at the inside so he...

    Jerking issue C14NZ engine

The mechanic told me the engine did not have a spark, is the no spark issue related with the no fuel from the injector? He ordered a new ignition unit with the hall sensor in it (not sure how to call it). Makes sense... It could have something to do with the stuttering. Hoping it's solved with...
