It happened to me when my was dead and had to put a new one, from a petrol engine... It was about 2 to 3 cm out than the original one. In the end it ripped the belt off and had to buy a from diesel one... Good luck
it happens... but now its good... soon will have it fully tuned and will measure the bhp... lets see if i can take more than 150bhp from this 1.7td engine ;)
almost 1 year away, its time for updates...
won a prize at a tuning show...
and everything was good till 19th august 2012... I had my injector pump with no rev limiter, so i've failed 3rd gear and then left the pedal in the ground... so it went like 9000rpm and it blew my engine...
thanks a lot guys.
some news...
had to take off the stickers that were on the wind-shield and the bar in the engine compartment, and tryed some stickerbombing on the wheels ;)
another trick... if you want some nice low power on these engines, grab a fuel pump from a bmw 225D and put it in there ;) it will run 1st and 2ng gear as you would never seen it... ;)
anyway, some more pics today, and yet I have another photosession with ConceitoPT, they want to do a video...
no i haven't... it was just take it off and that's it :S strange... after take it, i had to turn the fuel screw up 2 more turns, in order to get the fuel as I wanted to, so the turbo can work with the diesel it needs
Hey mate, after removing the cold start, you'll have to tune the other screw in order to get the fueling proper...
try this, when starting the car, put the pedal down, so the car can start, and then tune it until the revs keep up to 800 or 1000 ;)
yes it is... just for you to have an idea, it goes side by side with an corsa C20LET till the end of the quarter mile... just imagine the power of the beast ;)
Another photosession ;) not the pics I expected, but it enough for you guys to have an ideia of the car and how it looks like at the...
i know mate, but my pump is fully tuned to max... LDA, 13mm screw up to the top, and start cold removed so it can go further on the diesel value... but the other one has the 11mm plunger instead of the 10mm factory value ;)
it will go better with that pump...
if you have any doubts check...
