do beware, some x20xev's had the two piece sumps, with the link pipe going round it to the right (as you look at the front of the car) and some had a more normal sump with the pipe going to the left. it depends on the year and car model which sump you get, my ecotec sport had the two piece "oil...

thanks for the nice comments fella's, she rides well at the moment, but got some mods lining up soon, possibly, including proper ram air (F3 kit airbox, not filler and copper grease, lol), race spec suspension and ignition!

right, first ride report today, and WOW! ran lovely, absolutely lovely! very smooth and linear until 10,000rpm then it goes, just bloody goes! shame it was so greasy i couldn't really get into a flow, or actually get a pace going, but hey, i'm happy! few snags, i had a bit of throttle...

nowt wrong with them plugs on the right, get the electrode cleaned up and you'll be fine, lol! good progress mate!

big day today, MOT! and..... she passed! although she's running like a bag of poo, some gunge in fuel tap, i think! how she presented this morning: she needs braided lines on the front, oil change and a new fuel tap and we are ready for the summer!

nearly there, gotta love 80's endurasnce racer look! sorted brakes now, unlike their car pads, got ebc sintered race pads in her now which are the dogs danglies, now waiting for paperwork to process then we are off!

getting there, seems i mullered a fork seal fitting the bleeder, so i gotta re-do that, and indicators on the front is gonna be a laugh as i have "mis-placed" the rubber grommets that locate in fairing, but the above and front brake lines and pads and we are ready for mot! gotta give her...

well, 2010 is here, and a total change of plan, as per these things... she's going back on the road, as a sunday ride/trackday thing, gonna get her as standard as possible, bar can and bits, and as mint as possible, miss regular riding too much! so, lighting, indicators, etc, MOT and tax...

a couple of pics as she stands now... currently sorting brakes out, got a rear braided line, going to get front lines and pads new year, recommend me some good trackday/race pads! i always used ebc, is there any as good or better for similar money? what do you think of the sound...

well, it goes, but not really stops, so brakes and fairing to sort, then off to find an airfield... new year maybe for a run?
