I know exactly what you mean, I don't drive in London any more tiny signs with cameras fining you because there's a school within 5 miles and its the wrong time of day!

Sadly not the only city thinking of doing it, even the toy battery cars are getting hammered now, pay per mile next.

no rust on it, bodywork and paint needs a sort out, had a jap car that died on me, A mechanic friend sorted me this out for £600 to run around in for about a year and a bit ,makes me grin every time I drive the old banger, Eventuality got another motor, just couldn't bring myself to part with...

finally made a start, took off the naff sports mirrors, put stock ones on, rear washer and window regulators next.:thumbsup:

Well I loosened interior back panel off to sort the Ariel out as I didn't know about just taking the rear light cluster off to do it, so the head liner is already hanging at the back, so I was thinking of removing the staples,letting it sag then hitting it with some contact glue then smoothing...

I've been driving this old girl to work for a year, decided to get her get her looking a bit smarter and finally try to sort the bodywork, rear bumper and front window regulators, don't really need to do anything with the lump and gearbox, But got to get rid of the staples holding the roof liner...
