they will fit, but as neve'o says will require modification for the handbrake cable, looked into this when had trouble finding my 5 stud rears. the veccy one is on the top and the cav/astra one is on the bottom or vice versa cant remember now :doh:

I dont think so, if i remember correctly it became law that all cars had to have a third brake light after 1998 so would've come free with them in - i think :lol:

try your local vauxhall dealer mate, if they're still available they'll be pennies, had to get some for a cav gsi before and thay were cheap as chips!

check the door hinges for play, open it and pull up and down to check, had a few mates with early gsi's that have had it, they wear so get excess play, like a free lambo door kit! :lol:

Found mine on uk e bay, was looking for ages and then a pair came up, the company only had one set though. Always been a bit reluctant to buy from abroad but ive had loads of mates that have and they've had no problems - apart from stuff from hong-kong.

I put my 19'' calibra wheels on my mazda 323f, four stud with no probs, offset was a lot different though, but no probs with centre bore, mx5 centre bore must be the same cos the standard 323f wheels went on my dads mx5.

my mate fitted them to his gsi a few years ago, thay were 60mm nova springs and they dropped his about 80mm, looked awesome, just ordered some corsa ones for mine so will find out soon, guessing it will be the same as the nova springs
