Erm I am a little confused......If memory serves correct a basic principle of induction is that you cant increase the tourqe to a value that is higher then the bhp on a N/A engine as the air is only at atmospheric pressure? Also I know of a couple of XE engines running Jenvy direct to head...

You dont need rods and pistons.... There is a very easy way of doing it, all you need is a C20NE engine from an Astra/Calibra/Cavalier. The compression is already low enough to run up to 10psi of boost on the standard management. You would need turbo and manifold, intercooler, rising rate fuel...
