yes it would, but it may be a bit pointless as the gains would be minimal and you would really be better putting a let or a v6 in. the easier 2.2 to fit would be the 2.2 that comes in the sintras and fronteras , as this is basically a stroked 2.0 ecotec.

its richard chew's from vxon (rich c) and yes it is the cav with the evo cooler. the slam panel is like that so it is removable to get the big radiator out and access etc, as it isnt possible to do with the big turbo in the way otherwise. Not pretty but it is functional.

it runs 142 bhp and i think 190 odd ft/lb of torque off gas and then on gas it runs 190 odd bhp and about 240odd ft/lb of torque i think. ill have to check it is running on nitrous 100bhp jets and also has water/methanol injection too.

that is all run from an adapted standard manifold and runs 2 bar of boost i think

anything is possible. and money doesnt have to be a massive problem. my mate runs a cav izuzu 1.7 TD with a Saab 1.9 TiD Turbo on the standard manifold with an Audi Quatro external wastegate. pics to follow shortly
