1.4 spi idle speed

hi can anyone help ive just got a mk3 astra 1.4 spi and when its idleing it seems as some one is sat in the car reving it up and letting it die back down then reving it up again its all over the place and its driving me mad its got new plugs and leads

ive got a fault code too its
code 22 Throttle Potentiometer Sensor
were will i find this on a 8v i havent a clue what to look for

haven't got a clue what that means but i had the same problem last year-was the 'idle control valve' on mine.

get ya haynes manual out and find out where it is!!

thanks ive sorted it i put a new tps on and a new icv
