thought of painfully restoring a 1.4 Merit I was stuck with a few years ago and couldn't bring myself to scrap it ,bugger keeps running,used proper tractor paint and a roller, no expense spared, going to underseal it and have done this to it, really tempted to turn it into a sleeper if it survives the woke mob, any suggestions?

Sadly not the only city thinking of doing it, even the toy battery cars are getting hammered now, pay per mile next.

Yea this is why I live in countryside, we get left alone. I went to heathrow the other day, forgot how mental it is driving places like this with all the cameras and lights!

I know exactly what you mean, I don't drive in London any more tiny signs with cameras fining you because there's a school within 5 miles and its the wrong time of day!
