just finished lowering the front of my car (gota do back 2moz) and now there are some strange noises being made :confused: i really dont have a clue to what this is does anybody else know?
the mate i did this with said it will just be the springs bedding in or the tops need tightening up more
any ideas anybody?

How much have you lowered it by?
Mine was 55mm and the alloys rubbed on the inner arches and the steering rods on the rubber flap to the engine bay.
Depending on how much you have lowered it by, the old bushes in your lower suspension arms can just become unattatched. I replaced mine with poly bushes but the ball joint needs replacing every mot because of the low ride height + heavy ICE.

if when ya put the springs in and not sat them properly in the bottom cup and rubber top mount then as u turn it wont be running true to the top mount steering bush so will be trying to drag the spring round instead of just turning smoothly and not moving the spring!! thats the idea of why its important to get it sat back in the proper loacating sections!!!
or it could be a no of things!! i/e ball joint, back rubber on the lower arm, track rod end or even the anti roll bar links!!

b4 ya take it to the garage 2 have it tracked up just make sure the springs are sat in the cup's properly if not its not worth getting it done, jack the car up ya should b able 2 tel.. the bottom of the spring on the cup should be sat against a lil tag and the top of the spring should be in a groove in the rubber on the top mount

ya might have 2 undo the top nut 2 the last few threads n then they shoud just turn enough till in place properly with the car jacked up..
