yeah, I know it's crap, but i just want some sort of detarrent. Setting it up shouldn't be a problem for me, at least that's what I thought until I discovered the problems with removing the old one.

The alarm I got for it is just a noise maker in the Argos Catalogue!! Thought I could figure it out. Instructions for that were simple.

Hi all, I'm a total noob to the astra scene. I have a '96 Astra F olympic. I purchased a new alarm, old one not working properly. My problem is... how do I remove the factory alarm (think it says laser on it). I tried just disconnecting the box under the bonnet but then car wont start I...
