Does anyone know what the diameter of the standard exhaust is? I've searched without much luck

So can someone actually confirm if it's 45mm (1.75") or 51mm!!

My C18XEL was 1.75", was under the impression the X20XEV was the same and the C20XE was 2"/50mm.
Guess I might be wrong as it's 2:1 now
What it is, is the flanges between the downpipe and the cat have corroded so much that only the rust is holding it all together now, and it's blowing. So I was looking to hacksaw the rusty flanges off and get a straight through connector to clamp them two bits together, as I cant afford a new exhaust right at this moment. Now I have a spare 45mm connector

My c18xel is 2" diameter just to confuse Andy a bit more!! The stainless back box I bought was a 2" inlet and it butted up to the middle pipe so had to get a 54mm pipe onto the box so it would fit over.
The same happened to mine, you'll be surprised how cheap the downpipes are, think mine was £30.

Motorfactor flexi pipe and 2 U clamps, did the job well.

thats exactly what i did to mine apart from i replaced the whole cat with it, lol. it didnt last very long though. i still have some left over in the garage, lol
That lasted almost a year, was in great nick when I pulled the downpipe off.
