Make and Model 2000 Vauxhall Astra G 1.8 CDX (MK4)
Description: 2000 Vauxhall Astra G 1.8 16v CDX (MK4)
Just bought myself a new car so my Astra is up for sale!
Its a 2000 W Reg CDX so its top spec for a MK4 including Electric windows all round, electric heated mirrors, full leather interior, leather steering wheel, walnut dash and knob, disks all round and 4 disk CD Changer.
Its on just under 94k with full Vauxhall service history from the original Vauxhall garage - I've still got the original dealer plates, tax disk holder and Vauxhall mats!
MOT and Tax untill Feb 2013
I have tons of paperwork and receipts (probably more than the asking price in the last 2-3 years!) for the car including original Brochure and Irmscher Catalogue.
Lots of work done in the last few years at vauxhall including Clutch , Ecu, Cambelt, EGR and Thermostat, Clutch Slave Cylinder, battery, front pads and more
Full leather interior which I believe is a re-trim job rather than the factory optional extra. In very good nick other than one or two marks and it coming away a little at the bottom of the back of the passenger seat.
There's a few mods - 16" Sxi/Elegance alloys and Toyo T1R tyres, Smoked Sxi rear lights, Black V Grill, Irmscher door stickers, Retrofit Aero wipers, Insignia washer jets, Vectra C rear aero wiper, Janspeed stainless steel cat back, astra mk5 style flip key and full interior light LED conversion (front and rear interior, map lights and boot and glovebox)
Included in the sale are the original 15" CDX alloys and tyres, original rear lights, original wipers, Grey Coupe Centre Console including rare TC panel and a debadged grill.
It ran 123.9 hp and 127.9 lb/ft @ 3500rpm on the AMD rollers early on this year with nice smooth curves across the graph, about 10hp up on standard as its an X18XE1 - laminated print out to prove.
Overall I believe the condition to be very good although there are one or two marks as to be expected for the age
Great looking little car and has served me very well in the 2 and a bit years I have had it, will be sad to see it go. Many years of motoring left in it and would make lovely little family car/daily driver/winter hack.
Bad Bits:
Could do with a new aerial seal.
The front tyres are getting a little low.
Little dent on right rear door.
Small crease and crack in paint on rear bumper.
Air Con needs a regas or possibly a new compressor - didn't bother me.
